Wall framing
Freeport Steel wall framing products are used for load and nonload-bearing
construction applications, including exterior
walls, partition walls, ceilings and column fireproofing
in commercial and residential structures. Manufactured to exact tolerences, our components
are made from corrosion resistant galvanized steel that offers protection from the
elements.
Non load bearing drywall stud and track are C-shaped channels, roll-formed from galvanized steel and suitable for application of Gypsum wallboard, veneer plaster or traditional lath and plaster finish. All interior studs have dimpled faces that grab the screw points to prevent paper tears. All interior studs are pre-punched to allow fishing of cable and pipe through stud walls.
Freeport Steel provides lightweight galvanized C-Studs for use axial loadbearing walls, curtain-walls, floor joists and roof truss framing in a variety of sizes, flanges, gauges and yield strengths to obtain performance/cost objectives.
